The Hawks were led in the scoring column by Deion Hammond. Who finished with 28 points despite only having two first half points. Despite Hammonds hot second half, the Hawks struggled from the field only shooting only 36 percent from the field and Ray Salnave was the only other Hawk to score more than ten points in the contest, while Rider had five Broncs eclipse the ten-point mark.

For Rider, it was a win in dominant fashion. They were led by Tyere Marshall and Dimencio Vaughn, who both finished with double-doubles on the game.  on the season by tallying 21 points along with 15 rebounds. The Broncs did an amazing job on the glass as well outrebounding the Hawks +11.

The game got out of hand in the back end of the first half. The Broncs got the fans off their feet with an alley-oop to Stevie Jordan in lieu to 16 unanswered and it was smooth sailing the rest of the way.

The Broncs continued their dominance on their home floor improving to 10-1 in Alumni Gymnasium. It has been a trend that has dominated the conference. The top five teams in the conference now all hold a record better than .500 on their respective home floors.

With Atlantic City just weeks away, the Hawks might have some problems on their hands due to their lack of size and shooting woes that took place during tonight’s match-up.

The Hawks look to turn things around as they face Manhattan on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is scheduled for 2PM.
